Bangladeshi economic delegation visits BMI’s Museum

According to the Public Relations Department of Bank Melli Iran, a delegation of Bangladeshi economic delegation visited the Museum of Bank Melli Iran (BMI).
During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance (MEAF) Rahmatollah Moin Abouhana, the Director-General of West Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eghbal Hosseinkhan, the First Secretary of the Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) Shahid al-Eslam and Second Secretary of the Organization Niaz Morshed visited the Museum of Bank Melli Iran and got familiarized with the history of the establishment of the bank and evolution of the development of the bank and money in the country.
It is worth mentioning that the Museum of Bank Melli Iran is the history of banking in Iran. The Museum has showcased the old and ancient items such as banking appliances and facilities in view of the public.
The Museum of Bank Melli Iran is located on Tehran’s Ferdowsi Avenue which is home to the valuable and precious collection of gold coins, exquisite calligraphic tableaus, exquisite handwoven carpets, miniature, modern and classic paintings, Islamic sukuks, precious and old objects donated by the banks and/or world’s outstanding and distinguished personalities, historical and old tools of banking as well as title deeds of large real estates.
